Should I ask for a deposit ?

You can indeed ask the tenants for a deposit to compensate you in case of accidental damage.

It is up to you to determine the amount.

Remember to set it in My Account > Housing > Pricing & charges > Deposit.

MorningCroissant does not cash the deposits. It is therefore necessary that you also specify in your advertisement the method of payment of this deposit so that the tenant can anticipate it when she enters the premises.

Note that any tenant who rents on MorningCroissant is automatically insured in case of accidental damage. If he acknowledges his wrongs, he will be able to ask the insurance company to pay the compensation. For more details on insurance, see the page on Insurance and safety.
